no. 15 ・ Being intentional
Dearest you. We hope you had a calm and lovely beginning of this February month. As you might know, we set a monthly focus every month. A focus that catched our heart and mind. It works for us like a reminder that comes with intentions that we can all keep in mind and cultivate in our very own way.
At this time we came across the term being intentional. This is all about commitment, to focus and to create awareness and attention to the something important to you. If we seek to be intentional every day it's necessary to be clear on our dreams and about what we want to achieve. When we know what it is, it becomes easier to take action on our dreams.
When you are intentional, you bring a clear purpose, structure, and positive mindset to your day.
In the beginning of a new year many people will reflect on their dreams and goals for the coming year, but if you are feeling the phases of the moon, this time will be a beatiful new beginning due to the lunar calendar. The traditional Chinese lunar calender divides a year into 24 solar terms, with Lichun being the first. It refers to the beginning of spring and is a time where we are revitalized.
If we start being intentional with out behaviour, thoughts and our actions, this capability will grow and help us to move our lives forward in the direction of our hearts desires. We have set up a mini guide to become more intentional and how to practise this.
1. Get clear upfront what you dream to achieve in your life
This is the first step to get committed, purposeful and deliberate. When you are clear with you dream you can be considered with you focus. This intentional focus might bring you greater clarity around your dreams and what it takes to work towards it.
2. Move forward with your intention each day
Keep returning to your dream when in doubt and move forward each day by increasing your focus on what's most important to achieve this dream or goal. When having this focus on your vision and knowing what steps to take, might bring you confidence to focus on what matters the most at all time.
3. Eventually; daily and/or weekly planning
Set one or serval intentions for your days and for the week, be intentional with your time and take small actions towards these things that feels most important to you. When you are intentional with your time, you are far more likely to achieve the dreams and results you are seeking. Create a clear structure for your day and practise to do daily routines that support your goals.
We hope that you will see how powerful you are. Even in a life where there's a lot of things we cannot control, we also know we have the power to think, to feel, to choose, and to take responsibility for ourselves and our lives. We've embraced our power to grow, to change, to move forward. Let's start living intentional while listenting to our hearts.
