no. 3・World Sleep Day
We hope you had a good night of sleep. Yesterday, Friday, March 17th was World Sleep Day.
A day created by sleep medicine professionals and researchers that came up against the belief that sleep was not important enough in personal health and well-being to be a priority.
We support the importance of healthy sleep and therefore we thought it would be in it's place to share some of our favorite tips to create a healthy sleep routine.
Screentime
Avoid too much screentime in the evening, since this can suppress our sleep-hormone melatonin.
Daylight
Get as much daylight as possible. To expose ourself to morning light has been shown to stabilize the sleep/wake timing of the human body clock.
Quiet evenings
Enjoy a quiet time in the evening and wind down at least 30 minutes before you desired bedtime. Go into a relaxed state, whatever that is for you. We love to calm down with hot showers, meditation, journaling, reading a book and having our favorite SLEEP-tea from our shop.
